Tijit means digital in Korean

The company is registered with the Singapore Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) on May 13, 2005. It was a dream comes true for the founder, Mr. Ong.
He dreamt of setting up this company to service the Portable Tank Gauging System of the Korean brand, having worked in the Kimhae factory, with hands-on experience, he is committed to serve the customers of this new player in the marine market with the After-Sales Service.

There was the name being thought off as easy to pronounce, with two sylabols, and it can be spelt forward and backwards with the same meaning. When Mr. Ong was in Busan on the Subway, he heard some people talking about the new technology with Digital applications. The Tanktech Portable Tank Gauge is a completely new technology with digital applications, and the probe sensor and the main display board communicates with each other at a speed of 4 MHz, or 1 million instructions in one second.

In March 2005, the employment contract with Tanktech finally expired, after 3 extensions in Dec 2004, Jan. 2005 and February 2005. After a peiod of searching, and finding the capital to start the business, Tijit was born in May 2005, which coincides with the birthday of Mr. Ong's daughter. The month of April was a month of labor pain and water bag bursting.

Since then, the path to the business is been always to serve the customer with the best performance we can have and to do a great job, that they will not regret contracting us.
